Cherry Hills Village has always been about land, privacy, mature trees, mountain views, and a kind of quiet luxury that never needs to announce itself. This estate belongs to that tradition completely, and then goes further. There is no drywall anywhere in the home. Every surface is stone, brick, or wood, natural earth materials chosen and placed like a work of art. It is one of the most exquisite homes in Cherry Hills.

A home finished entirely in natural materials leaves nowhere for technology to hide, and no tolerance for anything that does not belong. So QAV did not install technology in the home. We wove it into the materials themselves. There is not a plastic switch in the house. The lighting is controlled through Basalte's handcrafted metal keypads, cool to the touch and beautiful enough to live right there on a stone wall.

The view mattered more than anything to the homeowner, and with floor to ceiling windows throughout the home, the shades had real work to do and still had to disappear. QAV recessed every motorized shade and drape into the tongue and groove of the ceilings, tucked inside the home's own timber framing. Raised, they vanish completely, and the windows give back one hundred percent of the Colorado view. Lowered, they soften the daylight and temper the afternoon heat. You never see the mechanism, only the light you asked for. That work earned the home a 2025 Crestron Home Technology Award for Best Shading Application.

The sound is hidden the same way. Invisible speakers and small enclosures blend in, filling the rooms with music while leaving the craftsmanship untouched. Televisions are wrapped in wood with custom Leon housings, and Bang & Olufsen Harmony displays stand as sculpture when they are off, then become cinema when you want them.

The lighting is a full design in its own right, layered, warm, and tuned to the architecture, with fixtures chosen as carefully as the furniture. There is even a dedicated wellness room with Human-Centric Lighting (HCL), sound, shades to make wellness and recovery feel as considered as the rest of the home. The living extends outdoors too, with discreet audio and video zones that carry the same calm to the patio and the grounds. And all of it, the lighting, the shades, the audio and video, the security, the network, the wellness room, and the spaces outside, answers to one effortless control platform. Anyone in the family can set a scene with a single touch.

A home this rigorous demands a rigorous team. QAV designed and delivered the technology alongside architect RKD and builder Cadre, with the homeowner curating every material and finish personally. Every wire, speaker, and keypad was planned long before the stone and timber went in, because in a home with no drywall, there are no second chances.

The result is a Cherry Hills estate where the beauty is in what you do not see. No drywall. No visible shades. No plastic, no clutter, no compromise. Just stone, wood, light, and the view, with everything else woven quietly into place. You will never see the work. You will only feel the home.

"The technology enhances how I live, but it never demands my attention. Everything is so beautiful in the background. It's exactly what I envisioned."
