High in the Evergreen foothills, where the pines open to a long mountain view, sits one of the most exquisite homes QAV has ever had the privilege to wire. Built by Rangeline Homes and designed by Tucker Johnson Architects, this mountain-modern retreat of dark wood, stone, and glass was named Two Dog Vista, for the view it commands and the two dogs who rule it. Rangeline and Tucker Johnson gave the home its breathtaking bones. QAV was entrusted with everything you feel but never see, the light, the sound, the picture, the climate, and even the air itself.

Light as Architecture

Above all, this is a home about light. QAV delivered the lighting control for the entire residence, shaping how every layer behaves so the house carries from a bright, energizing morning to a soft, cinematic evening. Tunable, dim-to-warm fixtures. One-touch scenes. Light that washes the stone and frames the view, then falls away to almost nothing when the night asks for it. Control this precise is what makes light look effortless.

Sound and Vision, Everywhere and Invisible

QAV brought audio everywhere and video everywhere, and then made the source of it disappear. Invisible speakers vanish into the walls and ceilings, so music seems to rise from the
architecture itself, filling the great room, the kitchen, the primary suite, and the terraces without a single grille in sight. Screens appear where they are wanted and recede where they are not. The experience is total, and the equipment is nowhere to be found.

One Home, Completely Orchestrated

What sets this home apart is the completeness of its control. QAV integrated the entire environment onto one seamless system: lighting, motorized shades, climate, audio, video, access control, and surveillance cameras, all answering to a single, elegant command. Arrive home and the doors, the lights, the temperature, and the music greet you at once. Leave, and the house secures and settles itself. This is not a collection of smart devices. It is one intelligent home.

The Air Itself, Set to Your Altitude

Then there is the detail almost no one expects. At Evergreen's elevation, the mountain air is thin, so QAV integrated an altitude control system that lets the family set their preferred oxygen and altitude level inside the home. With a touch, the house can feel like a lower, richer elevation, for deeper sleep, easier recovery, and gentler days at altitude. It is wellness engineered into the very air of the home, and it is managed as simply as the lights.

A Theater by Bang & Olufsen

The living-space theater is a showpiece worthy of the home around it. Here QAV installed Bang & Olufsen televisions finished in stunning metal and wood, design objects that are as beautiful switched off as they are switched on, paired with a matching Bang & Olufsen subwoofer that delivers a depth you feel in the floor. It is cinema rendered as sculpture, the rare screen that looks as considered as the room it lives in.

Art That Never Repeats

Even the art is alive. A digital art display connected to the Blackdove library brings a curated collection of fine and motion art to the wall, the piece changing with the mood, the season, or the moment. At the touch of a screen, the home becomes a gallery.

Recognized by Crestron

In 2026, Crestron honored Two Dog Vista with its Best Entertainment Everywhere award, for delivering audio and video throughout a home that remains, as we put it, visually silent. The judges singled out the discipline the project demanded. Because the house is wrapped in a continuous, energy-efficient air barrier that could not be penetrated, every speaker, keypad, and fixture had to be located and approved during architectural design, then built exactly as drawn. Most homes are made minimal by hiding equipment. This one was made minimal by designing so that less equipment needed to exist.

Two Dog Vista is what happens when a great builder, a thoughtful architect, and a design-first technology partner share the same standard of excellence. QAV shaped how its light behaves, orchestrated its comfort, tuned its very air, and hid every trace of the work, leaving only the vista, the quiet, and two very lucky dogs.

You will never see the work. You will only feel the home.

2026 Crestron Home Technology Award, Best Entertainment Everywhere

We wanted a home that felt as effortless as it is beautiful, and QAV gave us exactly that. The lighting is extraordinary, the music and art are everywhere and the equipment is nowhere, and we can even set the altitude so we sleep better.
