There is a Dutch word, thuiskomen, that means the act of coming home. Chalet, the celebrated Denver studio of John and Regan Mattingly, named this project Thuiscomen for exactly that reason. Its owners were a couple whose children had grown and gone, and what they wanted was not simply a house but a reason for the whole family to keep coming back, holiday after holiday. They traded a dated, mass-produced home for one designed around nature, light, and gathering, and QAV was trusted to make sure that when everyone came home, the technology was already waiting, and completely out of sight.
Connected, in Every Corner
A modern family home lives on its network, so that is where QAV began. We engineered whole-home Wi-Fi built to reach every room and every corner of the property, fast and seamless, so a house full of returning kids, weekend guests, streaming, and work-from-anywhere never skips a beat. When the connection simply works, no one ever has to think about it, and everyone stays connected in the ways that matter most.
Music in Every Room
Then QAV filled the home with audio everywhere. Room to room, the music follows the day, a quiet morning in the kitchen, a full house at dinner, a slow evening by the fire, each with its own soundtrack. QAV carried the experience out to the home's outdoor living space with weather-ready audio and an outdoor television, so a playlist, a ballgame, or a movie under the stars is always within reach, and the party never has to move back inside.
