Chalet peeled back a century of additions to rediscover the original footprint, added a new brick volume that honors the old, and even rebuilt the fireplace mantel from details lost to time. Into a home with such a long and layered story, QAV was invited to weave something entirely new, the technology of today, so quietly that it would never disturb the home's history.

A home of this age does not give up its secrets easily. Thick original walls of concrete plaster, the kind that make a house feel solid and timeless, are also the kind that can defeat a wireless signal. So QAV engineered the very latest in Wi-Fi to blanket the entire property, inside and out, reaching every room of the original structure, the new addition, and the gardens beyond. The house keeps its old-world calm, and the connection never falters.
