Who are we?

Remember the homes in the movies, the Iron Man house, the Jetsons, the places that seemed to think for themselves? Two decades ago that was science fiction. Today we build it for real, in some of the finest homes in Colorado.

QAV began in the mind of an engineer who could not accept "good enough." Before he ever touched a home, he worked where good enough got people hurt: fighter jets, race cars, oil fields. He brought that standard to an industry that had made peace with almost-right, and built a company that works the way he thinks. Every system is designed to a plan, built and tested in our own facility, and finished before the client ever moves in. We call that Done at Closing. The client never sees the work. They only feel the home.

What would you be doing?

‍

You own the experience, start to finish. You carry each home from the first design meeting to the day the client moves in, and you are the single point of accountability for getting it right. Here is how a typical week might look:

• Monday: building the plan, budget, and schedule for a new project, and walking the site with the builder.

• Tuesday: coordinating our design team, our facility, and the trades, so QAV is always in the right place at the right time.

• Wednesday: we cancel every meeting, forever. (We wish. Kidding. You will run a few good ones, and people will actually look forward to them.)

• Thursday: updating a client so they always feel informed and in good hands.

• Friday: clearing the path for next week, so nothing ever reaches the client as a surprise.

Priorities shift, job sites surprise you, and a dozen people need answers at once. You stay calm, keep everyone moving as one, and protect the standard that earned our name. When you do it well, the whole project feels effortless to everyone but you.

What should you bring to the table?

‍

• Three or more years managing projects (construction, AV, or integration experience is a strong plus).

• Natural leadership, and the organization to keep many moving parts in order at once.

• Polished, calm communication with clients, builders, and teammates alike.

• Comfort with project and scheduling tools, and a habit of staying ahead of the work.

• Pride in delivering, on time and to the standard, every single time.
